Our CNA program is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in providing essential care services for patients, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and providing crucial support to nurses. As a CNA, you will also offer social and emotional support to patients and play an essential role in communicating vital patient information to nurses and licensed practical nurses (LPNs).
The CNA certificate program equips students with the necessary skills to deliver fundamental patient care in a variety of settings, including hospitals, nursing care facilities, community care facilities for the elderly, and home care. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be ready to enter the workforce as competent and compassionate CNAs.

PSC offers the Advanced Bedside Care Provider Certificate to CNAs who currently are employed in healthcare and seek to advance their skills. Program Prerequisites: Students must be currently registered on the State of Illinois CNA Registry (Students listed in the State of Illinois CNA Registry may be eligible for proficiency credit for NURS 100).
